Diane G. Jewison, age 59 of Waseca, died on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 30th at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Marty Schaefer, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Waseca. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, and will continue on Thursday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. Diane Gail was born December 16, 1951 in Mankato, Minnesota to Lester and Dorothy (Morgan) Born. Diane was a graduate of Janesville High School. Diane lived and worked her entire life in Waseca County. She was united in marriage to James E. Jewison on May 20, 1984 in Sioux Falls, SD. Diane was a member of the Waseca American Legion Auxiliary #228, and a former member of the VFW Sweet-Sommers Auxiliary #1642. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Jim of rural Waseca; by her sons Jesse Jewison of Waseca, Todd Jewison of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Shane Jewison of Waseca, and her daughter Tammy Jewison of New Richland; by her grandchildren John, Jason, Dale and Jamie, and her great grandson Aiden; by her mother Dorothy Born and her brother Robert Born, of Janesville, and her sister Sheryl (Tim) Condon of Waseca; by her nephew Brent Condon; by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Lester and her son Travis at birth. Casketbearers are: Jesse Jewison, Todd Jewison, Shane Jewison, Tammy Jewison, Brent Condon, and Gordy Swenson.
