DELORES ROSE HUBER, age 89 of Waseca died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the New Richland Care Center.
Born on April 18, 1929 in Alton Township, Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Walter and Rose Ida (Gekeler) Pagel.  She attended rural schools before graduating from Waldorf High School.  Delores married Lester Huber on November 8, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.  Together they lived and farmed in Waseca County for many years before moving to Waseca.  Delores enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and cards, and old time music.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca where she had been active with WELCA and the Mary Circle.  She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Waseca.
She is survived by one son, Larry (LuAnne) Huber of Waseca; three grandsons, Travis (Courtney) Huber, Tyler (Stephanie) Huber, and Terry (Amanda) Huber all of Waseca; and one great-granddaughter, Jillian Huber.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter and her husband, Linda and Jim Weisjahn; granddaughter, Toni Huber; sister and brother-in-law, Harriet and Orville Beelow; sister-in-law, Sylvia Nelson; brothers-in-law, Donald Nelson and Walter Nelson; nephew, Lyle Nelson; and niece, Diane Nelson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:30 PM at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. John Omans officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of services at the church.
