Delores Bauer

Delores Bauer, age 83, of Eagle Lake passed away on March 3, 2017 at home with her family.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 10, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, with visitation one hour prior.
Delores was born on September 16, 1933 to Paul and Anna (Rauchwarter) Hummer in Eden, South Dakota. Delores married Wilfred (Shorty) Bauer on October 30, 1951.
After moving to Minnesota, Delores worked at Midland-Ross-Midtex for several years and then worked as a custodian at Eagle Lake Elementary School until she retired.
Delores had a green thumb and could make any flower grow. She was also very artistic, and made beautiful ceramic pieces; some of which won best of show and best of category awards at ceramic shows.
Family always came first, and she will be greatly missed by all.
Delores is survived by one son, James (Mary) Bauer of Eagle Lake, MN; one daughter, Kathy (Denny) Mead of Huron, SD; six grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Bauer of Eau Claire, WI; Justin (Amanda) Bauer of Eagle Lake, MN, Jessica (Jeff) Bauer of St. Clair, MN; Corey (Robyn) Mead of Omaha, NE; Heidi (Scott) DeJong of Huron, SD, and Maj Cody Mead, DO (Chrissy) of Stuttgart, Germany, and also by 15 great grandchildren. Delores is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Barbara (Leon) Reinertson of Foreman, ND, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and an infant brother.
