Delores A. Mulcahy

Delores Ardis Mulcahy, age 82, of Waseca passed away peacefully March 8, 2019.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM on Friday, March 15, at Church of the Sacred Heart in Waseca with Fr. Gregory Leif as Celebrant. Spring burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Thursday, March 14, at Starkson & Steffel Funeral & Cremation Service ~ McRaith Chapel of Wasca. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the Mass at church on Friday.
Memorials are preferred to I.R.I.S or St. Croix Hospice.
Delores Ardis Mulcahy was born September 18, 1936 in Wells, Minnesota to John and Marcella (Brandt) Giese. She graduated from Wells - Easton High School in 1954, and married Eugene Joseph Mulcahy on June 9, 1956, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Family and gardening brought her great joy throughout life. Her loved ones cherish memories of dancing, baking, sewing and her fantastic sense of humor. Delores was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and enjoyed attending a weekly Bible Study Group.
Delores is survived by eight children: Renee Stencel, Glen (Connie) Mulcahy, Cheryl Copp, David (Sherri) Mulcahy, Gary (Debra) Mulcahy, Roger (Raeann) Mulcahy, Dawn Fette and Kevin (Valerie) Mulcahy; twenty grandchildren: Kristy (Todd) Holthus, Heidi Stencel, Joshua Mulcahy, Amber (Evan) Downey, Chad (Carrie) Stencel, Adam (Alexandra) Stencel, Nathan (Alicia) Stencel, Travis (Alicia) Stencel, Brandon (Jennifer) Mulcahy, Dustin Mulcahy, Cody Mulcahy, Alli Mulcahy, Garrison Mulcahy, Aleah Mulcahy, Monica (Justin) Whitaker, Derek Fette, Logan Fette, Loren Mulcahy, Clarian Mulcahy and Kaleb Mulcahy; twenty-two great-grandchildren; siblings: Donald Giese, Howard (Janet) Giese, JoAnn Giese and Gloria (Duane) Wigern; and many nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in 1976, her parents, her in law's Henry and Margaret Mulcahy, a son-in-law Ronald Stencel, two infant grandchildren, two infant great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Lois Giese.
