THELMA DEHN , age 95 of Waterville died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at District One Hospital in Faribault.

Born on October 14, 1917 in Goehner, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Soren and Caroline (Johanson) Hansen.  Thelma was raised in Nebraska before moving to Minnesota.  There she married Leon Dehn on April 19, 1957.  Thelma and Leon lived and farmed in rural Elysian and she also worked for Munsingwear in Montgomery for several years.  Thelma enjoyed quilting, fishing, raising African violets and playing cards.  She also loved spending time with her friends and visiting with people.  Thelma was a member of St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran Church.

She is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister-Helen, and seven brothers-Bernard, Martin, George, Clarence, Carroll, Woodrow, and Gerald.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran Church in rural Waterville on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour before services at the church.  Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home of Waterville is handling arrangements.

Memorials are preferred to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
