Deborah L. Wesley

DEBORAH L. WESLEY, age 72 of Faribault died on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Homestead Hospice at Owatonna.

Born on June 21, 1949 in Faribault, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Gerald and Deloris (Jensen) Wesley Sr. She graduated from Waterville High School in 1967 and went on to attended Faribault Vo-Tech for accounting. She worked at various places through the years and most recently worked at Little Six/Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee for over 20 years. She also served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 35 years, retiring in 2009 as a Sgt. First Class. Deb enjoyed reading mystery novels, watching Minnesota Sports teams, playing Blackjack at the casino, and attending concerts.

She is survived by one brother, Gerald “Butch” (Monica) Wesley Jr. of Clarkridge, AR, and one sister, Gatha (Richard) Mittelsteadt of Waseca; three nieces; two nephews; four great nephews; and one great niece.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hope United Methodist Church in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour before services at the church. Masks will be required. Private family burial will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
