David William Timmerman

DAVID WILLIAM TIMMERMAN SR; age 69 of Waseca, died at his home on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Born in Waseca on February 15, 1953, Dave was the son of Donald Harland and Jean Fern (Gerdts) Timmerman. He graduated from high school in New Richland. He was married to Lonnie Hoy in Otisco and although they later divorced, three beloved children were born to their family. Dave worked many years alongside his father for Fritz Farm Drainage, and continued his employment there when it became McKean Farm Drainage. Later he worked with many good friends at Brown Printing in Waseca. David was also a caregiver for his mother after she had some mini strokes and was brought home from Koda Living until her passing. He enjoyed fishing when he was younger, but later in his life enjoyed tinkering with most anything. He was a true craftsman, regardless of the material he worked with. He was a long-time member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Otisco.

Dave is survived by three children, David (Lisa) Timmerman of Waseca, Katie Timmerman of Owatonna, and Michael (Danielle) Timmerman of Waseca; three grandchildren, Dominique, David, and Braiden Timmerman; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Aubrielle Timmerman; and one sister, Connie Ruedy of Waseca. He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife; and brother-in-law, Brad Ruedy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Otisco, with Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow at Otisco Cemetery.
