David Sheeran

David Sheeran, 62, of Mankato passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at the REM home in Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Robert Schneider presiding. Visitation will be 5:00 8:00 pm Friday, September 29 at the Starkson & Steffel Funeral Home ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville, and resuming one hour prior to services at the church.
Arrangements are being completed by the Starkson & Steffel Funeral and Cremation Services~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville.
Memorials are preferred to the REM Heartland of Mankato.
David was born October 21, 1954 to Frank and Elaine (Jewison) Sheeran in Waseca, and attended schools in Janesville, Waseca and Waterville.
After school, Dave worked at Minnesota State University Mankato, the River Hills Mall and Mexican Village helping with the food services for most of his life.
He enjoyed traveling with his REM family to Twins games, the Grand Canyon and even Disney World.
Dave was a big fan of the Three Stooges and had a great sense of humor with his family and friends. His jokes and laughter will be missed.
Daves family would like to especially thank the staff and everyone at the REM homes, where David called home for over 30 years, for their compassion, care and love they give.
He is survived by his siblings, Frank Sheeran of Overland Park KS, Ray (Sue) Sheeran of Madison WI, Kay (Laverne) Denning of Fort Myers FL, Tom (Pam) Sheeran of Seaforth MN, Jim (Julie) Sheeran of Francis UT, Paul (Jackie) Sheeran of Rochester MN, Tim (Jane) Sheeran of Mantorville MN and Pat (Donna) Sheeran of Francis UT; with many nieces, nephews, relatives and great friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents and sister in law, Janet Sheeran.
