David Richard Ryan

DAVID RICHARD RYAN, age 56, of Waseca passed away Friday, July 5, 2024.

David had loved his music, had a knack for tinkering with small engines, motors, models, anything that he had the opportunity to build. Surfing, fishing, riding his motorcycle, cooking, baking, playing Guitar, and most of all spending time with his family. 

He spent half of his career as a 49er working the pipeline as a heavy machine operator. In 2008 David moved to Durant, OK where he spent the last portion of his career as a mechanic. David’s life mission was to provide for his family and give his children the best life he could. 

He was a loving, caring, and protecting father to his children David, Christa, Rebecca, and Alexis.

In his free time, he would spend it in the garage tinkering on engines or his inventions, or his hobby room tinkering on models. He enjoyed playing poker with his family, watching movies, and most important riding his motorcycle. He is deeply missed. 

David is survived by his children, David Christopher Ryan, Christa Marie (Dave) Moen, Rebecca Sarah (Travis) Olson, and Alexis Ryan; grandchildren, Zadia Rose Lucielle Olson, Wyatt Dean Olson, and Kiara Roze Moen; father, Fredrick Broder; brother, Gary (Beverly) Miller; niece, Mariah Jean, nephew, Dusty lee.

He was preceded in death by mother, Zadia (Sue) Whitte; great-grandmother, Lucielle; uncle, Joe McClanahan; and cousins.
