David Walter Morris

DAVID WALTER MORRIS, age 62, Kenyon passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Born on October 23, 1960 in Faribault, David was the son of Robert and Gladys (Meyer) Morris. He grew up in Wanamingo and Kasson where he graduated high school. He worked as a sheet rocker, worked at Pearle Vision, and drove truck for many years until he retired. He married Ilone and they had a son, Dane.

David was a great storyteller and good friend to many. He will be missed by many as he continues his journey home.

Dave is survived by his father, Robert (Janet) Morris of Waterville; son, Dane Morris of Duluth; daughter, Shana Davidson of Kasson; grandchildren, Hailey, Alexa, Blake Davidson; great-granddaughter, Haizlee; sisters, Louise (Steve) Schreiber of Byron, Carolyn Morris of Waterville; life partner, Val Grabinger; stepchildren, Chris Baumgartner, Brandon (Cheyenne) Baumgartner, Brent Baumgartner; step-grandchildren, Cade Herman, Beau and Ella Baumgartner; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; stepmother, Veryl; and grandparents.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Village in Waterville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Village.
