David John Haberman

DAVID JOHN HABERMAN, age 76, of Janesville died on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Born on May 12, 1945 in Ellendale, Minnesota to Edward and Margaret (Kubicek) Haberman. He received his education at Ellendale Public School. Following his education, David enlisted into the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1968. On December 19, 1969, David was united in marriage to Lannette Wagner at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Together they had one son and shared 20 years of marriage before Lannette passed away on June 22, 1990.

David was employed by EF Johnson Company, and Walter Cookbooks as a press operator in Waseca and retired in 2015 from Hiniker Corp. of Mankato. He enjoyed fishing, puzzles, watching TV and especially seeing his grandchildren. David was a member the Janesville American Legion and Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.

David is survived by his son, Jason (Susan Winter) Haberman of Janesville; two grandchildren: Melanie and Jacob Haberman; sister: Dorrie (Donnie) Hunt of Ellendale; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife; and siblings.

Private family services will be held. Interment in St. John Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township, Waseca County with military honors provided by the Janesville American Legion.
