DAVID EDWARD COLE, age 66 of Waseca died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Born in Waseca on October 5, 1952, David was the son of Bernard "Bud" and Lois (Goeritz) Cole.  He graduated from Waseca High School in 1971 and then attended St. Paul Barber School.  In 1972 David married Debra Jacobson and they were divorced.  He later married Marguerite Pope. After finishing barber school he cut hair in the Edina area for about 40 years.  When he was young he enjoyed playing baseball as a pitcher.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting, playing cards, and spending time with his friends and family.
David is survived by one daughter, Marah Cole of St. Paul; one granddaughter, Ava Rose Nicholson; three brothers, Denny (Sheri) Cole of Owatonna, Doug (Anita) Cole of Prescott, WI, and Don Cole of St. Louis Park; and six nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marguerite. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
