CYNTHIA MARIE WHEELOCK, age 53 of Waseca died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on January 11, 1965 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Bauman) Wheelock.   She graduated from Waseca High School in 1983 and later attended cosmetology school and the University of Minnesota-Waseca.  She had been employed with Kwik Trip in Waseca for many years.  Cindy enjoyed time with her granddaughter, Chloe as well as cooking and baking.
She is survived by her son, Chad (Jessica Ferguson) Wheelock of Waseca and granddaughter, Chloe.  She is also survived by her mother, Barb Wheelock; sisters, Shari (Scott) Miller and Barb (Steve) Hansen all of Waseca; and nieces and nephews, Megan, Joe, and Alison Miller and Marcus and Aubree Hansen.   She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 5:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church (401 3rd Ave. NE) in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the time of services at the church.
