CONNIE LAVERNE OBLAK, age 65 of Waseca died on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at her residence.
Born on March 17, 1950 in Washington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of James Lloyd and Lila LaVerne (Dillie) Dinch.  Connie grew up on her family farm in Pennsylvania.  She spent many hours milking cows and working in the hay fields.  At an early age she trusted Jesus as her Savior.  Connie married John Oblak on June 23, 1984 at Grace Bible Church in West Middletown, PA where she was an active member, teaching Sunday School and being involved in many of the ministries of the church.  In Waseca, Connie was involved in school activities with her sons and volunteered to teach crafts in the schools.  She enjoyed knitting, stamping and crafts.  She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Owatonna, helping with Awana, Social Committee, and Sunday School.
Connie survived by her husband, John; two sons, John Oblak and James Oblak all of Waseca; her mother, Lila Dinch of Avella, PA; and one sister, Linda (Thomas) Anestis of Houston, PA.    She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church in Owatonna.  Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour before services at the church.  Burial will be at West Alexander Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
