Claudia McCarthy, age 63, of Waldorf, died on April 13, 2019, at home in Waldorf.

Claudia Ann (Hall) McCarthy was born on March 20th, 1956, to John and Janet (Read) Hall in Mankato. She attended St. Clair High School and graduated in 1974. She was united in marriage to Gary McCarthy on June 1st, 1974. She worked as a health care provider for 18 years until retirement.
Claudia enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, traveling, casino trips, camping, and her dog (Buddy).
Claudia is survived by her husband Gary McCarthy of 44 wonderfully years. From their union, they had three children: Jessica (Keith) McCutchen of Mapleton, Quentin (Sarah) McCarthy of Minnesota Lake, and Melissa (Jeremy) Davidson of Montgomery; eight grandchildren: Konnor, Jayden and Kyle McCutchen, Malloree and Drake McCarthy, Alexys and Aliviya Boyd, and Gabby Davidson; three sisters: Sherry (Kenneth) Eggen of Eagle Lake, Susan (Moses) Padilla of North Mankato, and Shelley (Larry) Hoehn of Mankato; brother-in-law: John (Kathy) McCarthy of Mapleton; special friend, Miranda Petzel of Mapleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Hall and father, John Hall, brother, Timothy Hall, mother-in-law and father-in-law: Charlotte Winch and John McCarthy.
