Clara G. Linde, age 97 of Janesville, died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Janesville Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville with Fr. Peter Klein, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Ann Cemetery following services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Janesville, and will continue on Thursday for one hour prior to services, at church. Clara Gertrude was born on January 30, 1914 in Rapidan Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota to Allie and Mary (Braam) DeVlaeminick. She was united in marriage to Rudolph A. Linde on April 18, 1933 at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Clara was a homemaker, and with her husband Rudolph farmed over 41 years in the Eagle Lake/Smiths Mill Area. They retired in 1974 and moved into Janesville. Clara lived in her own home until moving to the Janesville Nursing Home in 2005. She was a longtime member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville. She liked gardening, and playing bingo & cards. Clara most enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren and their families. She is survived by her daughters, Delores (Stanley) Wilmes of Mankato, Beverly (Jerry) Froehlich of Janesville, Barb Fischer of Minnesota Lake, and Karen Linde of Janesville; by 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren; by her sister Katherine (Kenneth) Johnson of Mankato; by her daughter-in-law Patricia Linde of Mankato, and sister-in-law Evangeline Linde of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rudolph on June 13, 1980, and son Eugene on September 10, 2011; her son-in-law Carl Fischer, and grandson Jason Froehlich; by her 4 brothers and 6 sisters. Casketbearers are her grandsons: Scott Fischer, Ron Fischer, Steve Wilmes, Dan Linde, Curt Linde, Larry Linde, Jesse Linde, and Jared Froehlich.
