Carrie Lee Dahle

CARRIE LEE DAHLE, age 48 of Waseca, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Carrie was born in Waseca on October 29, 1975. She was raised in a loving home by her father, Gary Dahle, and her family is glad to know she now celebrates her reunion with him and her grandparents in paradise. Carrie attended school in Waseca and graduated with the class of 1994. During her last two years in high school, she served her country in the National Guard. Upon her honorable separation from service, she continued her education at Bethany Lutheran College and Minnesota State University-Mankato. She worked for a short time at the hospital in Mankato in registration and administration, but her true calling was in education. She worked as a Child-Care Lead in pre-primary education for most of her working years, and was incredibly passionate about caring for children. She loved collecting items and materials for the kids, cross-stitching, and artwork of nearly any kind. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Lillian Dahle of Waseca; five siblings, Bethany (Justin) Fairfax of Clear Lake, IA, Hilary (Zach) Lien of North Mankato, Jacob Howson of Elysian, Jonathon (Nicole) Howson of WA, and Joseph Howson currently serving abroad in the US Marines; her mother, Debra (James) Howson of Elysian; as well as many nieces and nephews.
