Carl Robert Houdek

CARL ROBERT HOUDEK, age 65, of Owatonna, died on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Owatonna. 

Born on November 29, 1958, in Owatonna to Robert and Virginia (Frank) Houdek. Carl attended Owatonna Public Schools. In 2001, Carl was united in marriage to Lynette Baier. He worked for Cedar Valley Services. Carl enjoyed going to the State Fair, Renaissance Festival, casinos, and the Steele County Fair, watching the demo derby. Carl loved his dogs, Skippy and Lucky. He was a generous, caring and loving man who cherished time spent with family. 

Carl is survived by his wife, Lynette Houdek; stepdaughter, Maria (Bradley) Olson; step grandchildren: Annabelle and Christopher Goodpaster; cousins and other relatives. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Houdek

Private graveside service will be held at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
