Carl Genz January 27, 1930 - October 26, 2009

Loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, devoted Christian, humble leader, and loyal friend. Carl was born on January 27, 1930 in Rosemount, Mn to Carl F. and Mathilda Genz. He was a dedicated businessman who held many board positions. Most importantly, Carl loved his family. He cherished every moment he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing their stories. He will be greatly missed. Carl is preceded in death by his father Carl, mother Mathilda, first wife Veronica M. He is survived by wife Joanne; sons Greg (Kathi), Gary (Toni), Carl-Billy, Kevin; daughters, Geraldine (Mike), Veronica D. (Jeff); grandchildren Lori (Shaun), Lisa, Cassie (Josh), Dani (Brian), Eric, Carl G, Brandon, Niki, Alex, Justine, Grace and Sophie. Great grandchildren Wally and Parker. Sisters, Corrine and Karlo, brothers, Martine, Clarence (Kathi), George (Linda). Along with many loved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday at the Church of St Ann, 307 W 2nd St Janesville, MN. Visitation 9:30 - 11:00am at church, before Mass. Additional visitation at Willwerscheid West-Heights Chapel, 235 Wentworth Ave. W., West St. Paul Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 10:00-12:00 prior to burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. Luncheon to follow at St. Peter''s Mendota, MN.. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
