Brandyn Hildebrandt October 16, 1990 - August 22, 2008

Brandyn Troy Hildebrandt, age 17, of Faribault, died suddenly on August 22, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nerstrand United Methodist Church in Nerstrand. Interment will be at the Nerstrand Evangelical Cemetery in rural Nerstrand. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Brandyn Troy Hildebrandt, the son of Lisa Hildebrandt and Troy Michalek, was born on October 16, 1990 in Faribault. Brandyn currently was entering his senior year at Faribault High School. He enjoyed swimming and was a member of the Swim Team, was a pole-vaulter for Track & Field and participated in Soccer. He currently worked at Kwik Trip in Faribault, and helped with farm work for Randy Wolpren. Brandyn enjoyed reading, time with his friends, and going camping with his family. He is survived by his mother, Lisa (and Tim) Schmidtke of Faribault; his father, Troy Michalek of Faribault; brother, Bryce Schmidtke; his girlfriend, Ali Wolpren; maternal grandparents, Morris and Verna Hildebrandt of Nerstrand; paternal grandparents, Cheryl (and Pete) Vikeras of Faribault, and Bob (and Kathleen) Michalek of Lakeville; his aunts, Lynn (and Todd) Ballstadt of Owatonna and their children, Alex and Andrew, and Michelle (and Steven) Kotek of Faribault and their daughter, Jasmin; and many friends and relatives.
