Beverly L. Roepke October 17, 1922 - November 13, 2014

Beverly L. Roepke, age 92, of Faribault, MN, passed away, Thursday, November 13, 2014, at her residence at Keystone Communities of Faribault.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, officiating. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Memorial visitation will be on Friday, November 28th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Beverly Lloyd was born on October 17, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN to Walter and Olga (Dreis) Johnson. She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis and attended St. Cloud State University. Beverly was married to Lawrence Roepke on May 23, 1942 in Minneapolis and they moved to Faribault in 1959. She was a homemaker for her family raising five children. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping with her family and square dancing with Lawrence. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1976. Beverly then worked at the Faribault Vo-Tech for several years until her retirement. She moved to Arizona in 1985 and later moved back to Faribault in 2008. Beverly enjoyed sewing, golfing, swimming, and traveling. She was a member of her church Rosary Circle.

She is survived by four children, Terry Runchey of Onalaska, WI, Chuck Roepke of Villard, MN, Mary (Marvin) Tatge of Faribault, and Neil Roepke of Orlando, FL; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; parents, Walter and Olga Johnson Hennessey; and her daughter, Laurie Roepke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Faribault Area Hospice in memory of Beverly.
