Beverley A. Gunsolus

August 15, 1939 — February 23, 2017

Beverley Gunsolus, age 77, of Janesville died on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28, at Elysian United Methodist Church in Elysian. Interment will be in Alma City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Monday, February 27, at Starkson & Steffel Funeral & Cremation Services ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorials preferred to the Elysian United Methodist Church.

Beverley Ann Gunsolus was born on August 15, 1939 in Waseca to Louis and Mildred (Wilson) Hruska. She attended Elysian public school through 8th Grade and later graduated from Waterville High School with the class of 1957. While in High School Beverley was a very accomplished pianist. Playing at many choir concerts and for soloists.
Beverley lived in the twin cities for some time while working as an Executive Secretary for 3M in Maplewood and Hoerner-Waldorf Paper Mill in St. Paul. For one year she lived in El Paso, Texas, living with her brother Glenn. On November 20, 1981, Beverley was united in marriage to Billie Ralph Gunsolus at the Janesville United Methodist Church. Together they enjoyed doing craft work alongside her brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Mary. Beverley was an avid reader of wildlife magazines as well as being outdoors enjoying the nature around her. After her marriage she moved to Janesville and worked at KOWO Radio Station in Waseca. She was a longtime member of Elysian United Methodist Church where she frequently played Organ. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.
Beverley is survived by her brother, Glenn (Mary) Hruska of Madelia; stepdaughters: Annamae (Ron) Holzworth of Menahga, MN and Cindy Gunsolus of Park Rapids; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Dean Hruska.
