Betty J. Rinsem, age 83, of Faribault, died on Friday, April 15, 2011, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. Graveside services were held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home and Crematory of Faribault. Betty Jean Rinsem, the daughter of Gustav and Julia (Westrum) Rinsem, was born on October 8, 1927. She was a lifelong resident of Faribault and longtime resident of St. Lucas Care Center. She is survived by nieces, Betty Scheidel and Beverly Brown; and caretakers at St. Lucas Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Harwood, and Jesse Rinsem; and sister, Gladys Hendrickson.
