Betty Kuntze August 18, 1937 - June 24, 2013

Betty (Mrs. Bill) Kuntze, age 75 of Faribault, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Abbott- Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hope United Methodist Church in Faribault, with Rev. Dana Houck, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian, MN.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Betty Lorraine, was born on August 18, 1937 in Waseca, MN to Basiel and Ethel (Merritt) Spoor. She graduated from Montgomery High School. She worked at Brown Printing in Waseca and at a group home in Faribault until her retirement. She married William (Bill) Kuntze in July of 1978. Betty was a member of Hope Methodist Church and AA. She volunteered many hours at her church and group homes and enjoyed her cats, birds, and computers. Betty enjoyed spending many hours at the Nature Center in Faribault.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Kuntze; children, Jean (Dennis) McBride, Leroy (Debra) Kukacka, Wayne Kukacka, and Paul (Annette) Armstrong; daughter-in-law, Julie Kukacka; grandchildren, Vanessa (Jon) Zimprich, Rebecca (Jon) Hensel, Roy Kukacka, Shawn Kukacka, and Brandon Kukacka; great grandchildren, Aera and Autumn Zimprich; sister, Irene Jakes; brother, Charles Spoor; nieces, nephews, and family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Blanch Heil, and June Martin; great grandson, Anthony Zimprich; and son, Ronald Kukacka.
