Deloris Bartz

DELORIS BARTZ , age 78 of Waseca, died on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.

Born in Owatonna on October 16, 1934, Deloris was the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Johnson) Hondel.  She was married to Marvin Bartz on March 12, 1952.

Deloris is survived by two children, Brian (Diane) Bartz of Waseca, and Cindy (Chuck) Kangas of Durham, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Marj Bartz of Algona, IA; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, David and Duane Bartz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca, with Rev. Giles Zimmer officiating.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.  A private family interment service will take place at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
