BARBARA GAIL PAPINSKI, age 63 of Waseca died on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Born on October 22, 1955 in Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Walter and Gloria (Knudson) Possehl.  She graduated from Waseca High School in 1974.  Barbara married Richard Papinski on August 2, 1986 in Chicago.  She most recently worked at Country Neighbors in New Richland.  She enjoyed traveling, watching Hallmark movies, and collecting snowmen.  Barbara was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Waseca and three sons, Jacob, Joshua, and Jordan Papinski all of Waseca.   She is also survived by siblings, Paulette (Paul) Born of Waseca, Marty (Colleen) Possehl of Claremont, Richard (Val) Possehl of Waseca, Bruce Possehl of Waseca, and Diane (Jerry) Roeker of Janesville; sisters-in-law, Janet Possehl of Waseca, Judy Busic of Chicago, and Nancy Barco of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles Possehl; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Josephine Papinski. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:30AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, one hour before services at the church.   Private family burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
