Annette Jane Bennett

ANNETTE JANE (MCCLUNE) BENNETT, age 57, of Waseca passed away surrounded by family at her home on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Born on September 29, 1965 in Waseca, Annette was the daughter of Gerald McClune and Joan Wobschall. She attended Waseca High School and graduated with the class of 1984. She was united in marriage to Tommy Bennett in 1990 in Waseca. She worked with the cleaning crew at First National Bank, EF Johnson, and Brown Printing, but her main job was being a mom. She was a loving mother to Michael, Tommy Jr. and Tabitha.

Annette was a great cook and baker. She was known in her family to make the best chicken dumpling soup. She loved attending flea markets, auctions and garage sales to find the best deal. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and playing candy crush in her free time. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She will be dearly missed.

Annette is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tommy Bennett; children, Michael Rezac, Tommy (Hayley) Bennett Jr., Tabitha Bennett; seven grandchildren; father, Gerald (Connie) McClune; brothers, Wayne McClune, Terry McClune; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joan Wobschall; grandparents, Myron and Jane Callahan; uncles, Harry McClune and Donny Wobschall.

Memorial service will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
