Anna Kath November 3, 1915 - June 4, 2012

Anna J. Kath, age 96, of Faribault, was taken by the angels to be with the Lord on Monday, June 4, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (139 Mercy Drive) in Faribault. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Anna Josephine Stadler, the daughter of Nicholas and Catherine (Adams) Stadler, was born on November 3, 1915 in Walcott Township, Rice County, Minnesota. On December 26, 1934, Anna was united in marriage to Edward "Ed" Kath at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Anna was a homemaker for most of her life and did work at the Minnesota School for the Blind for a few years as a house parent. She truly loved dancing with Ed, gardening in both her vegetable and flower gardens, cooking and spending time with her family. Anna also had a great sense of humor and wit. She is survived by her children, James (Mary) Kath of Dent, MN, Joann Donkers (Paul Nicholas) of Blooming Prairie, Lana Cowan and Theresa King, both of Faribault; by her 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren; by her siblings, Donald Stadler of Silver Bay, MN, and Eleanor Cowger of Nampa, Idaho and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward in 1969, her brothers, Henry, Charles, John, Benjamin and Edward Stadler, her sisters, Mary Liverseed and Leona Morlean, by her great grandson Josh and by her great great grandson Adomic.
