Agnes W. Webb, age 95 of Faribault, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Sunday, February 10th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Agnes Wilhelmina DeGroot, the daughter of John and Martina (VanDerAA) DeGroot, was born on April 6, 1917 in Faribault. She was united in marriage to Ray S. Webb on November 8, 1941 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Together they farmed for a number of years in both Steele and Rice Counties. Ray preceded her in death on August 30, 2007. Agnes was self-employed with Tri-Chem Crafts for 30 years and was chosen Queen of the Company in 1985. She enjoyed being involved at the Faribault Senior Center and in 1990 was crowned Queen of the Senior Center. Other achievements include being named Outstanding Senior Citizen in 1993. She was very active in volunteerism within the community for 25 years and enjoyed camping, crafts, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Raynella Miller of Faribault; son, Raymond Webb (and Lori Lockwood-Webb) of Faribault; four grandchildren, Randall Williams, John (and Barbara) Miller, Julie (and Jay) Sammon, and Jenny (and Tom) Greeney; 8 great grandchildren, Kyle, Briana, and Connor Miller, Kaily and Spencer Sammon, and Zachery, Anthony, and DeShawn Greeney; brothers, William DeGroot of Spokane, Wash., Leo DeGroot of Faribault, and Myron DeGroot of Faribault; and many other relatives and friends.
