ADELINE CLARA MITTELSTADT, age 95 of Waseca, died on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Born on her familys farm in rural Waseca on April 11, 1923, Adeline was the daughter of Herman and Clara (Helms) Mittelstadt.  As a girl she attended District #22 school in rural Waseca.  Adeline spent time working for the E.F. Johnson Company, the Rendezvous restaurant, and at the canning factory in Waseca before making the decision to attain her GED and attend Faribault Vocational School where she studied nursing.  She then spent over fifteen years working as an LPN at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.  She enjoyed traveling, dancing, old time music, sewing, quilting, and shopping.  She was a long-time member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Otisco where she was involved with womens group and their many activities.
Adeline is survived by one sister, Ruth Mittelstadt of Waseca; and many cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Luverne Mittelstadt.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Rev. Scott Williams officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of the service.  Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
